About

I solved this for myself first.
Then for the people around me.

Off The Clock isn't a framework I read about. It's the one I built out of necessity, at 26, on the floor of my own burnout.

As a compulsive multi-tasker, I have spent most of my life cramming as many side-quests, hobbies and hustles into my schedule as possible — until one day at 26 years old, when I completely burned out and had to take a step back.

Not wanting to slow down, but still wanting to look forward to the sun rising the very next day, I started compiling all of my expertise in software engineering and business consulting into frameworks that I could use to build a more balanced life.

6 years later — after having helped multiple people find time for what they care about, time to spend with loved ones and even time to explore hobbies that they hadn't since they were kids — this toolkit of knowledge became "Off The Clock": a community built on the fundamental principle that people can learn how to manage their time and personal projects like Fortune 500 companies do, but instead of simply maximising for profit we maximise for a healthy and fulfilling personal life.

As for me, I have a new sense of focus in my career while still being a professional side-quest-ician (trademark pending lol). I also do so proudly, while getting a consistent 8 to 9 hours of sleep every day. And I am confident that with Off The Clock, so can you.

If it helps to know: I'm not coaching from the outside on this. I still feel the pull of music I've never fully chased — my own version of a Late Bloomer's pace anxiety. I'm building Off The Clock itself as my own passion project, one of several things pulling at my attention at once — a Polymath's bandwidth problem, lived firsthand. [ADD: a personal Mapless Dreamer example — a time you knew the destination but not the first steps] I'm also an immigrant, working toward my own goals somewhere that wasn't originally home, without wanting the extra complications that can come with that. Whatever version of stretched-thin, behind-schedule, or map-less you're feeling, I've probably lived some version of it too.

Why I do this

I don't think burnout is a personal failing, and I don't think the fix is trying harder at the same broken system. I think most people have never once sat down and asked what their week would look like if it were actually built around them. That's the whole job.

How I show up as a coach

Honest over comfortable. Specific over generic.

I'll tell you when something in your schedule doesn't add up, even when that's not what you were hoping to hear. I won't pretend a $95 conversation is going to fix six years of avoidance in one call — but I will tell you, plainly, whether I think this is going to work for you.

And I try not to take myself too seriously while doing it. Fixing your relationship with time is serious work. It doesn't have to feel like a funeral.
